Is there a more tragic and thirst inducing Trilogy than Nolan's Batman?

The difference is that Cap is Super Solider but is still vulnerable to a lot of things that's why people can relate plus the same can be said for Bats. Bats is a normal dude who is tired of corruption and crime in his city so he uses his resources to stop it, we can all relate to that. Superman is basically a God who can only be stopped by Kryptonite and can pretty much do anything he wants. If he wanted he could throw the Earth into the Sun then fly to another Planet. The problem is that his character has too much power

superman's greatest power is not his physical strength, it is his inner strength.

but honestly when did this become a "problem"? no other superhero has the potential for more glorious action and spectacle than superman. for god sakes he got his start in ACTION COMICS.

at the end of the day superman needs to be the most powerful because he is the one that carries the biggest burden. you can't exactly count on spiderman to save the world from an impending meteor shower. you can't exactly assign wolverine the job of humanity's protector. we are talking about SUPERMAN, the ultimate superhero. of course he's got the most powers, but that doesn't mean he is above having conflicts. it's all relative.

Trilogy for the most part was good but the representation of Batman was ass!. The way they dumbed him down :scust:.

I thought it was ludicrous that Bruce would quit being Batman because his girlfriend got killed when murdered loved ones is like his entire motivation to be Batman. Instead of Batman in retirement TDKR should've been about a raging Batman using excessive violence to take down crime and build from that.

Because seriously, how the fukk do you make a Batman where he's retired, comes back and then retires again. What the hell were they thinking with that arc?

Been saying that since I saw it. This is a guy who saw his parents die in front of him and he became batman because of it. so now that his "girlfriend" died, and I use quotes because she wasn't his girlfriend, they weren't smashing, and she was with another guy, now all of a sudden he wants to hang it up for 8 years and can't go on? Tragic.

The John Blake stuff was superfluous at best and there was never going to be any following of that character. Bruce left him to protect the city even though Bruce had his own issues protecting the city and he was a trained ninja..this kid is a rookie detective. So nah @Jax it was time to move on from that story.

Man of Steel underperformed. Snyder + Nolan + Goyer + Superman was a bad recipe from the jump imo:yeshrug:. Another character that was radically dumbed down:scust: the same was done to "The Worlds greatest detective".

Is it so hard to model a Superman movie around stuff like this:mjcry:
