I only liked Begins in terms of being a Batman film and it's a dope movie. TDK is an incredible movie but it pisses me off at the same time. TDKR is trash.
Is there a more tragic and thirst inducing Trilogy than Nolan's Batman?
which is why ive always felt like begins was the best movie.... Felt like PURE Batman imo

I'd argue that Dark Knight is still pure batman too: classic batman vs joker story, showcases gotham pd, the gotham justice system, uses the citizens as a part of the plot, and like any good batman vs joker story, there are plenty of casualties

Bane was great... but better than Joker???? Joker actually won & was supposed to assist in Rises....Joker was a good foil, but Bane was better than him
Bane got taken out in hand to hand combat with Batman as he should have....that scene was Bane being taken out abd the threat eliminated of Bane....how Bane died after that was pretty irrelevant imo
Even after that classic first clash with bane vs batman folks is still ungrateful

After Begins Batman got turned into a military soldier/CIA Agent who could only brawl
. Fantastical elements got dropped and Gotham got turned into Chicago. Begins is the only film in the trilogy where Batman felt imposing and dangerous. Criminals were shook and you could feel it.
Bane was pretty much "The Joker" on steroids and on a much bigger scale

Exactly. Bane doesn't hear a motorcycle pull up? Just because Selina is a cat burglar doesn't mean the bike suddenly became quiet. It's not ungrateful @StillNotSoft its just feeling like the person who's been the main villain for most of your movie deserves a better ending than that. It felt rushed and sloppy

First hour and a half of the movie was the dullest shyt. Still remember telling you that during the catwoman ballroom dance scene lmfao
So many daps issued in this thread. TDKR falls apart the second you assess it. I left the theater like

. I basically assess the value of who I fukk with by people who loved that movie. I've had to stiff arm a few friends on some "I love you but...." shyt. From the plot to the EDITING that movie falls apart. Goons literally fall by themselves during fight scenes. shyt turns from day to night in seconds. fukking cops are captured underground for presumably months, come out clean, with no facial hair and dash down streets with no guns against armed goons and don't get shot. fukking stock exchange plots that make ZERO sense. Ridiculous character motivations...dude just runs away with a female that set him up and is this is the LAST we see of Bruce Wayne? Literally every scene in that movie had me thinking about it as it went into the next scene like...wait I don't think that made any sense. Sloppy movie, brehs.

I meant better than Bats. Joker was playing for the fun of the game but Bane just wrecked that nikka with no fukks given.
