Rises is good in chunks but Nolan tries to over complicate all his plots. TDK too, trying to cram a bunch of shyt in that isnt needed.
Is there a more tragic and thirst inducing Trilogy than Nolan's Batman?
Holdup though,i thought he quit cuz he was being a symbol and because the city got cleaned up because of Harvey and Gordon.....i just thought he quit on life because of his girlfriend being murdered if I remember right.
I wont let yall convince me Rises is bad...I liked it better than Returns actually,agree with the action though and batmans fighting skills....They need to get dude who did the John Wick movie to help them out,those action scenes

Yeah there was no organised crime after The Dark Knight, streets were cleaned up so Gotham didn't need Batman
I wouldn't say he quit as the batcave was rebuilt and he was waiting. There was just nothing for him to do as "Batman" until Catwoman and big bad Bane popped up 
. Batsuit and Batpod were on stand-by from what I remember. Rachel's death just made him anti-social and a recluse.
Always thought it was funny how Nolan Batman could only be bothered with the mafia/ league of shadows and could never fight no other crime

But that's what Batman does breh. He goes on patrol. He stands atop rooftops. His whole goal and the reason why it's fruitless and impossible, is to make it so that no little boy has to suffer the same thing he suffered which was a random act of violence. He's not just concerned with the big threats he's also concerned with what happens to the little guy

?Gotham has always seemed to be a fuked up place,so whos to say batman would never quit if he could...and how come comic fans dont care about different versions of batman in the comics but it cant b no creative licesne in the movies...second time he retired he left robin in charge

I don't mind different versions of Batman just be true to the character that's all I'm saying. Tell as many different stories as you want in any way you want but be true to the character. Bruce would never quit unless he absolutely couldn't do it anymore and felt he was a detriment to the city OR until he dies. That's it. In the comics when he wasn't batman and dikk took the reins it's because he was "dead" and was fighting his way back from that. When he realized the job of Batman was a lot, he created Batman, Inc to have different batman's policing the globe. I prefer my characters to be true to who they are as created because it makes for compelling stories that way. A batman who decides only big crimes are his issue and cares nothing about the little guy isn't batman and not Bruce at all. He's either going to die protecting Gotham or just keep going in one way or another.
Even in Batman Beyond, he "quit" because he just couldn't do it anymore and found himself about to use a gun, which was the point he knew that it was time to be done. Then he recruited Terry but still used his mind and resources to protect the city through Terry.

Joker was a good foil, but Bane was better than him
Any DC animated flick has been more engaging than the last Batman film
