I said PART of the reason he got fired was not starting Kobe, not that it was THE reason.
but he started in 99 and they got swept anyway by the spurs.

Yeah he takes more shots and scores more. When Wade took more shots than Kobe, he outscored him pretty easily.
Even if he started kobe they still wasn't going to win anything regardless.

Wade didn't take more fga because his scoring would of dipped precipitously because he doesn't have the midrange or long range game kobe does. He relies on his athleticisim to get most of his points near the basket.
