Incline has been a weakness of mine ever since I started lifting weights.


I always did them after bench.
Lately, I've been doing them before my flat bench.

I'm gonna go with OP's suggestion and start doing them on separate days and see how much I improve.

Try it.

You'll notice a difference in strength for sure

I'm on a full-body routine.

I've kind of plateaued on flat presses - I just don't feel the normal strech. I feel it on inclines though.

My chest workout is currently

flat
incline
decline
dumbell flys
pullovers.

6 sets for flat and incline.
5 sets for decline and dumbell flys
3 sets of pullovers.

Anyone notice the serious pump you get doing dumbell pullovers?, it's only temporary sadly but my chest and shoulders blow the fukk up so much I have to wait 5 mins till I start my back workout.

I see soooo many cats in the gym who do flat Bench and even decline, but never touch Incline.:snoop:

Some dudes be built up but the upper part of their chest be lacking so they don't get that full muscular look.

I know alot of guys don't like Incline because its the hardest of the three chest presses(Incline,Flat,Decline)

But let me let you in on a little secret.:sas1:

Incline makes your flat and decline lifts a whole lot better :sas2:

Incline gets you stronger,quit ducking Incline and go hit it breh's.

I do flat on Mondays and do Incline on Fridays so I can be fresh for both list and maximize my strength for both :wow:

I see guys do flat then Incline,nah man do them on different days breh's.

This thread is nothing more but a self brag under disguise of help. Yeah incline benching will hit other pectoral muscles you don't normally hit flat but it isn't necessary unless your a body builder.

If your not doing a certain exercise, of course it looks impressive when someone else is doing it. I just started db incline pressing last weak doing 100x3 for 6 sets. Arms were mad shaky.

Today I will 100x10 on my first set but it will still be meh to me even after I accomplish it.
