If Lamar Jackson looked like Jalen Hurts would he get the credit he deserves?

I think it's funny how they were desperately trying to strong arm this overrated cac into the MVP discussion.

It wasn't until Lamar started torching the other super bowl contending teams, that they realized they could no longer deny Lamar who has always been the obvious choice.

You're basically saying "IF" any of those dudes played better than Lamar they would've won MVP? :dead: :dead: :dead:

They didn't so I don't see what your point is. Lamar played very well this year and getting his CREDIT by winning MVP damn near unanimously.

What you're saying about Purdy is just conjecture at this point. He's not looked at by anyone as better than Lamar (start of the season or now) and Lamar has been crowned MVP twice, without any kind of playoff success. To say he's not getting enough credit is retarded.

And I brought up injuries to say that despite the injuries Lamar still was getting credit as a Top QB in the league.

This what we talking about breh.

Its an uphill battle for him. If it was only based on skill/accomplishments the only QB in the league with an argument VS Lamar would be Mahomes.

Despite those obstacles, injury plagued seasons and lackluster playoff performances Lamar is STILL considered Top 2 or 3 QBs in the NFL and getting praise and accolades (2 MVPs). What more credit is he supposed to be getting for a QB with no rings or any playoff success? Nobody in here has told me yet :russ:

It’s not about looks.

Since day one Lamar has refused to conform and has been himself unapologetically.

NFL is a very “traditional…good ole boys” organization.

Anyone not conforming to their will is seen as a threat.

They been trying to get Lamar out the paint. He’s just too good. Keeps making these cacs make a fool of themselves. Baltimore wins the SB this year it will break the fabric of their existence. All of their narratives will die, and they gone have to give respect and recognition outside of their wishes.

GO RAVENS!!!!!!!

100% truth

No other top 2-3 QB would any NFL GM publicly say they don’t want him and expect to keep their job. There were teams sitting on Mac Jones type talent talmbout “naw we good”

ESPN had Lamar ranked at 7th at the start of the season.

Any GM would have killed to get Burrow, Hurts, Allen, Purdy, Herbert on their team at any cost.
