With all that said he still gets more credit than Jalen. He about to overwhelmingly win his 2nd league MVP.

They've been coming for Lamar ever since he took the "I'm not switching to wide receiver" card off the table.
They hate his style of play. They hate his throwing motion. Most people thought he'd be injured by now... but he just keeps on winning, and the ravens love his ass.
Jalen might not be your "prototype" quarterback either but he played in two pro style offenses at Bama, and OU, so he was looked at a bit different.

Of course he his because it’s undeniable, with that being said up until last week he was still facing scrutiny and back handed compliments that I believe others in his position wouldn’t have received.
Jalen doesn’t deserve an MVP at this point in his career.
Lamar stole that trophy this year.
They purposely excluded him early on trying to crown brock purdy, josh allen, and really anybody else and he made it so there’s no way you can talk about football this year without acknowledging how great he is.
Best believe they would love to give the trophy to Hurts, Mahomes, Purdy or a multitude of other players. Lamar shut all that down with his play. It would be a travesty for any other player to win the award at this point.
You can say what you want, but that does play apart in anything. Lamar has been better than Jalen has ever been, but he tends to have to fight for every scrap of credit. Part of that is his look. These CACs just can't help themselves. It is what it is.

I don't know, I don't really remember people saying anything egregious about Lamar this year even early in the season, but I do remember last season and two seasons ago they were saying he needs to work on being a better pocket passer.
Hell Jalen's first two seasons people were saying the same thing about him, where people were saying he was more of a runner than a passer
Again...Lamar is WIDELY considered Top 2 or 3 QBs in the league and has 2 MVPS. His play is undeniable. With him not playing well so far in the playoffs he's getting the credit he deserves.

Yes and just about every other team in the league had an opportunity to get him this past off season and they all balked. If Brock Purdy had done everything Lamar has in his career they would have fallen over themselves to give that CAC a fully guaranteed contract. And even with Lamar playing as well as he has all season, it took Purdy throwing FOUR interceptions before they gave Lamar the nod. Even after that game there were still talking heads out there saying that he wasn't MVP. They finally gave up the ghost after this past weekend, but damn. Dude had to go the extra mile.
