Out here in my damn drawls
He was a part of the coop at Stringer's insistence. The coop was destined to fail anyways.

After Stringer was forced to go behind his back, which had a domino effect. When the needed Joe's package the most while they were weak, Avon was acting like a baby

The Barksdale crew should have never been a part of the coop to begin with. I understood his rationale though for wanting to be a part of the coop since the feinds were :pacspit: at the product they were selling at the time. But Avon was right.
That decision by Stringer along with him bringing in Brother Muzone, and his hard on for Omar led to his and the Barksdale downfall.

Stringer only cared about the money once Avon was gone. Thats why he got at dangelo, he let east side hustle in the towers and he set avon up. Once he saw that avon was about to fukk up the money he got at him too. Bodies fukked up the money. The cops wouldn't even know what avon looked like if it wasnt for the bodies.

"Shut the fukk up, man! This nygga is too ignorant to have the fukking floor."

The Co-Op survived after Stringer, Prop Joe and Hungry Man got killed. They pooled their resources and bought the connect from Marlo for $10 mil :yeshrug:

Hell, the only reason Marlo was able to really disrupt the op was because Avon wanted him to by giving him the Greeks for $100,000. He was a sabertooth ant with good luck

I'm saying, he should have just used the CO-op as an opportunity to get money, rebuild and get more competent soldiers (a big part of their problems :smh:) and they could've reclaimed his corners from a stronger position.

I've been saying this for years, but the single biggest mistake the Barksdale organization ever did was continually give those dumb nikkas Gerrad and Sapper important and tactical missions. They should of have been demoted or kicked out entirely after the first fukk up by getting high at Avon's come home bash.

The right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way
Remember the hit on Orlando that got Kima shot, brought all sorts of heat on the Barksdales and got my nikka :ohhh: locked up for life? Guess who called that... Stringer.

Then the whole bullshyt with Omar and Mouzone (that got him killed in the end).

All this co-op shyt when Marlo owns the best territory on the West Side. :stopitslime:

Getting conned by Clay Davis and all those white collar criminals.

Stringer made some big mistakes, both in the street and in the business world

yeah stringer did make mistakes...everybody does. I still think if he focused on getting a college degree(not just one or two community classes lol) he could have been on some ceo or cfo shyt.

but that just goes to show how fukked it is for blacks sometimes. stringer was basically BEN CARSON(if you know his back ground story) in an alternate universe.:ohhh:

you can escape that life but its very hard when you raised like that or around it.

Avon checked Stringer in Season 1 also.

The scene where they have the drug money Orlando was going to use to buy from Savino. Stringer admitted that he told the Wee Bey and them they could keep the money and Avon was like :what:burn that crooked marked money, fukk is yall nikkas thinking? Stringer was like:manny: my bad.
