wire really fuked up, they should of spent a whole season on the avon/stringer fued

I've read interviews where they thought the show was getting cancelled after season 3 which is why they through so much of it into that story. To provide closure.

I always wonder how many shows would be different if they knew they had stability to tell the story how they want instead of worrying about ending each season.

Stringer is a tragic character. Ideally he would have gone to wharton and ended up as a CEO. He wants to be a CEO badly, look at the scene in which he talks about why CEOs make so much money. The reality of america makes him a drug dealer. Thats all he could ever be no matter how hard he tries. You can tell he has to fake even speaking the gangster lingo. In the end the double crossing that would serve him well in the business world gets him killed on the streets.

that makes a lot of sense, its too bad though. sometimes tv shows gotta make those hard decesions, its like saving your ammo for the next day without knowing if you have a next day
