My power has been out for 12 hours now

This shyt ass man. My city clearly had no plan for this type of shyt and it’s kinda like wtf I get all the damage and wreckage but for no power for all this time hell nahMy power has been out for 12 hours now
We got fukkING BLASTED in Augusta.
The pictures and videos I have are crazy. The amount of downed trees I personally saw is in the hundreds.. downed power lines in the dozens. Caved in roofs and crushed cars galore. All traffic lights are out. Only a select few stores are open and the two Publix I just came from had last call before I got there. Easily 300+ people cramming into these spots, self checkout lines wrapped around the entire store. It's believed that power won't be restored until Tuesday at the earliest, for "some" people.
Glad I shopped on Tuesday and Wednesday in preparation. Unfortunately me and my wife cook too often and don't do snacks much.. so not only is hundreds worth of meat about to spoil, we don't have much to munch on. So I'm about to pull my grill out, boil some water on it in my kettle and grill as much of the meat as I can. Hope neighbors are hungry because I refuse to throw the meat away, I'll feed the damn stray animals first

Yea I don't think I've ever had a power outage this long in my life. My parents live about 15 mins from me and they got their power back about an hour ago. Im praying for a miracle bruh

I know it’s after the fact for some but for my forward thinking Coli brehs make sure you invest in a generator. If you have the bread go solar or get a solar generator. Climate change is real and these storms are only gonna keep being the norm.

Talked to the homie next door. He has a 700 square foot walk in area under the house. It's where he has access to the joists for his home that sit on top of beams that provide support to his home. That nikka got up this morning and was greeted by 5 inches of water in the entire space. They financed a weekend trip to Long island City that is non refundable. I told that nikka to take the L and address that issue or the cost of the foundation issues gonna dwarf some trip

Which one do you recommend? In NC we've been without power for about 12 plus hours now.
If you getting a gas generator a Honda inverter generator is always a good bet. If you going solar I would recommend ecoflow. I like solar generators because the sun is your gas.
