I'm in Gwinnett, power flickered and went out overnight but came back on within the hour. We got spared for the most part but alot of streets is flooded going towards Dekalb, also trees down

My Grandma in Augusta says they alright but that they got devastated by the storm shifting east, trees fell thru people's houses and whole city out of power

Yep, I'm talking about that yellow patch south of Florida. That is where Helene formed. There is less than a 40% (right now) chance that it turns into something.

I mean, this is something you'd see regularly sometimes. Not exactly raging through. I was in savannah a few months ago and this happened. If debris isn't being carried i feel like its just a normal storm.
