How did a white guy create a more realistic portrayal of the hood than any black person in Hollywoo?

They could have done better with the wardrobe too.

I saw Carmelo MDWAG episode and Melo said the dynamic in Baltimore is that West side dudes are drippy and flashy while East side dudes are more gritty but West side dudes from the bottoms the projects where more like East side dudes despite being on the West.

But anyway where was the drip nikkas wore they had a bunch of hip hop brands and shyt often times poorly layered. Where was the Ralph, the Maurice Malone, the Foams and shyt nikkas wore? That alone takes away from the realism.
Damn you'd have to really be clicked into Balitmore to know that. All I know is compared to DC cats B-More dudes wore colorful ass clothes. In DC nikkas generally wore all Black everything.

Police have a sad, depressing view of the underworld. They see houses full of new furniture infested with roaches and mice, they see the young beautiful teenager that was a valedictorian turned out and is tricking to stay high. They see the kingpin whom everyone wants to be like crying like a bytch, letting friends and family take charges. I was in a counseling group with an ex cop, he told me how it was a common occurrence to find deceased infants in houses and the family just goes on living getting high, having sex, selling drugs with no care or concern. Most of us know what addiction/extreme poverty looks like. A cop in the inner city sees a level beneath what we see.

The Wire had its "Hollywood" moments. Brother Mouzone stood out the most probably. He was a character you would find in a Tarantino film.

Omar jumping out the window. Well hell maybe a good amount of S5 was pushing it a bit.

the real omar actually did that. Also, Ain't mouzone meant to be NOI?

Yea but why are 50 cents shows so unrealistic and hes a actual street nikka

no body is really looking for realism in them because they would be extremely more gritty and boring and show that most of them are scumbags
