Ahh,the latinos.

One day they may be very powerful, but they just arent ready to be the key yet. You cant rush these things.

And also if this Baby Yoda character is powerful just because hes the same race as Yoda. Why wont Star Wars touch on the probable link between melanin and "the force"? No matter how much they try to convince you the European was the only one who could beat Palpatine,we already saw a regular black man beat Palpatine on a whim.

Was basically blindsided by another European, then Palpatine did the equivalent of taking out the strap because he was losing the fight. Yet somehow this isnt acknowledged and its framed as only the SkyWalkers could:gucci:?

Add that to the fact Boydegas character was "force sensitive" and fought the top guy in the new franchise with zero training. And there was a powerful black woman i remember in one of the newer franchises that people were hating on. They really need less Lukes and more Leveons. But white supremacy wont let them see it:respect:#TheKey

its wild you equated baby yoda with latinos :ohhh:

i posted that video in this thread with an entirely different premise

when you think about it my way (purple theme) the movie choices look different

my belief on why they framed it the way "Skywalkers" could is cause they playing the name game.

thats my strut :banderas:

John Boyega is right.
Disney tried to play up the "diversity" angle but treated pretty much every nonwhite character like an afterthought.

They turned Finn into a space-janitor.
Oscar Isaac's character didn't change a lick across 3 movies.
They turned Kelly Marie Tran's character to a glorified cameo in Rise of Skywalker.
They wasted Veronica Ngo (killed her in the first 5 minutes of TLJ).
They killed off the cast of the Raid without giving them one decent fight.

...and guess who got ALL the shine after all that?
"REEEEEEEYYYYYYYY" :mjpls:

They had NO plan whatsoever, and they did Mark Hamill dirty.
I can't even bring myself to acknowledge that new trilogy, knowing what I know now about Disney. I was wrong about the Prequels.
Just give me Star Wars episodes 1-6 and I'm good.

The way the reeboot trilogy flopped, was probably a blessing for him.

Imagine if he was the lead and the story revolved around his character. :manny:

The movies wouldn't have been bad if they did what they were supposed to with his character.

The first one got good reviews. I guess Kennedy said Finn needs to be separated from Rey so Rian Johnson departed from the story that was set up and the second movie was a disaster. The third had to try and correct his mistakes and wound up being a bloated mess.

They even changed his character going into the first movie. There was a backstory written for Finn and he was an adept soldier. The strom troopers would do combat simulations and the protocol was to leave behind any downed troopers. Finn would rescue everyone and still complete the missions. That eventually got him sent to Phasma to be disciplined and they were supposed to be enemies in the movies because of this history.

They made him a janitor in the movies. I can't fully remember but I think he was only put on garbage duty as punishment for not following orders.

If a white actor was casted as Finn he would have had the Force and been Rey's love interest.

The biggest problem was they relied too much on nostalgia. They brought back all of the old key characters instead of doing something totally new. Finn was merely trailer bait. They also fumbled Kylo Ren horribly :snoop: they fumbled Snopes in the sequel. The first one was just as bad as the others.

Finn basically served no purpose because the entire trilogy was trash .

Give it 5-10 years and they will announce it wasnt canon. Or pull some multiverse story where they correct it:mjlol:

I will never forget Tariq's insightful review of that film. They did that breh bad :pachaha:

:russ:
Time stamped.

I know Tariq rubs people the wrong way but his review of the film was masterful. Basically called what would later happen in the sequels. They made Finn a complete jobber/eunuch.
