Technology coming in the clutch to the aid of hitters
:blessed:

Low-key, this is cool, but it completely removes the element of fear of getting hit for batters which is always in the back of your mind when you step in the box.

They have machines that can throw exactly like real life MLB pitchers too..shyts crazy

So half my coli brehs can easily hit 90mph pitches like they aint shyt and instead of being in the majors with a 9 figure.contract they choose to post with us. Yall the real MVPs brehs

:salute:

Dude in the video I posted above played minor league ball & he couldn’t hit 90MPH balls cleanly..

Yet dudes on here who probably didn’t play past 9th grade are “Tony Gwin at the 90MPH machines in batting cages” :dead:

If anyone on the coli can hit a ball faster than 75MPH I’d cashapp them $50

As former baseball player, anything over 95 mph is extremely difficult to time. Becomes guessing game, no time to analyze which pitch out of hand. Laying lumber on a 93+ mph is therapeutic. :noah:

Bullshyt. You not hitting 90 MPH pitches unless you’re a high level college player or a pro.

I played baseball for 8 years from a kid till my teens & I can barely hit balls at the cage that’s 60 mph
My flabby ass was hitting 85 mph pitches at the cage last month . Maybe you werent very good. :umad:

Lower level behind the plate seats are not good if you actually want to watch the game. As you said, you can’t see the ball when it’s pitched and you can’t tell where it’s going after it’s hit. That’s why I gotta laugh when I hear fans boo a pitch, I’m like none of you fukkers even saw the ball, you don’t know if it was a strike or not.

Also it’s a huge disconnect between what the fans perceive and reality. What I mean by that is we all have stood on a basketball court and shot a 3 pointer. We know how far away it is. So when a player is out there bricking wide open shots you know he stinking it up because you can hit those from time to time.

In baseball, an extremely tiny amount of people know what it’s like to see a pitch above 75mph. And if you have it was a fastball. No MLB pitcher is throwing a 75mph fastball. I’m here to tell you, a breaking ball coming at you at 85 mph will TERRIFY you. I experienced that and the moment he released the ball my mind said get the fukk out the box or that’s your ass. Well my mind was gone but my body was still there and I hopped out after the ball had already passed me. Right then and there I knew all them “what if” day dreams I had needed to STOP.
Yup 100%.

"Off speed pitches" in MLB are still HELLA fast. Sliders, curve etc. You just hear some whistle and then the leather pop on the catcher gloves.
