Just beat the game on PS5.... Kinda disappointed that the witch's son was the final boss....... Was expecting more..... Bout to go back and fight the valkeries and favors just for the hell of it....

That official? I don’t think Atreus Bow and Arrow would be a good primary weapon for this type of game.

I beat this back in December, I wasnt a fan of it at first because I wanted my old God of war back. As I progressed I started to appreciate the challenge and got hooked into the father son storyline (surprisingly so because I loved these games mainly to see Kratos' in a rage beasting through the game)

Finally went back and did a fresh restart and beat this game

Queen Valkyrie Sigrun was a super frustrating fight. Haven't been that
at a boss fight since Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos in Bloodborne.
The writing for this game is immaculate. All the banter and dialogue from Mimir while surfing around on the boat. The bits and pieces from Brok and Sindri. That's the kind of stuff that shows you they went above and beyond what normal devs do for most games.
Masterpiece.

Didn't like the combat till I faced off against my first valkyrie... After many deaths j now understand the combat and I like it, it's pretty damn good.
Just got the OG chains, I don't know how much longer I have left, but I like the game. Solid remake. The puzzles are kinda lacklustre though.

sooooo I’m one of those ppl who “claimed” I couldn’t see the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps last gen...but maaan am I noticing it now this...messed around and played this for a little last night and tonight on PS5 with the update and the combat feels much better to me than it did before
