The same people who chided KD for going to GS? The same people who are pretending that LeBron hasn't won a single ring without playing along side of true former #1 option? The same ones who pretend LeBron's championship teams weren't out start powering every team he beat and all but one that he lost to?

Prime for Prime LeBron won rings with Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving & Anthony Davis. Steph won with KD twice and twice without him. Steph has done more with less.

Yep

Steph actually won a chip as the man WITHOUT a superteam last year in REAL playoff conditions. Something that the so called "king" can NEVER do :mjlol:

And that's what Legroupies do, they downplay Lebron's supporting cast which are superteams (all of a sudden everyone is a scrub) to prop him up while elevating his rivals supporting cast to discredit them :mjlol:

its sucks that golden state ran and got durant to make things unfair, because even tho cavs won the chip, those teams were even as fukk, and it woulda been nice to see them match up against eachother for da next couple years to see who really had the throne.

Under da real circumstances, the answer is clearly lebron. steph isnt in his league respectfully.

No it's not.

And even if you were to believe it was, what sense is there in swapping their circumstances? That gets you further away from the bigger picture. You can't just throw some shyt out there of Bron and Steph swapping teams and then using that to determine the answer of this thread. The only thing of relevance here is what has happened, not some made-up nonsense that we're unable to come to a logical conclusion of due to the infinite variables involved.

This isn't golf or tennis. Looking at what happened in a team sport to assess individual greatness is inherently limiting. So yes, it's fair to hypothetically examine how each player would succeed individually if they switched circumstances.

The real circumstances is what played out. Lebron doesn’t care about fair, he wanted Kawhi to team up with him and AD.

bron was the only golden ticket in the league for more than 90% of his time in the league

the only player you could drop on any team & make them instant contenders

chef has had one of the most fortunate player franchise relationships in league history

he is no doubt the centerpiece of gsw's success but that's a solid squad even without him

two different situations

well da squads were even until golden state made it uneven is all im saying. woulda been nice to see those teams battle it out after the first 2 series they had.

steph wasn't even the best player on his team during those durant years, so comparing him to bron is silly

lakers caught bron on his way down

& even on the back end got la some ice

bron in hollywood is the start of the 10% portion of his career where he is no longer a golden ticket player

still elite but not a golden ticket

Wow. Before I say this let me say RIP Kobe bc it’s hard to have debates with him passing. But this reeks of Kobe fandom/Bron hate so 2 things:

1- The same way Kobe fans piggyback off Shaq, get to their destination, then hop off and hold up 5 rings like they was all due to Kobe :heh: ...is the exact same thing this “debate” would require you to do w/ Steph. Just completely disregard that KD is who got Steph 2 rings. Then pop up and say ‘yea Steph has more rings, he better than bron’. :mjgrin:RaNGz culture.

2- The minute Kobe fans realized they could no longer keep up the fairytale that Kobe was better than bron, they pivoted to Jordan > Bron (which is true) as if Mike was somehow ‘their’s’. They’re now doing this with Steph.

To answer the question, it’s lebron bc he’s never been a co-star like Steph :unimpressed:

So we should conveniently leave out the stacking the deck parts of Bron’s career and run with the golden ticket

1- The same way Kobe fans piggyback off Shaq, get to their destination, then hop off and pretend like he didn’t exist….is the exact same thing this “debate” would require you to do. Just completely disregard that KD is who got Steph 2 rings. H by hr then pop up and say ‘yea Steph was better than bron’. Without KD Cleveland Bron and kyrie run rough shot over GS and Steph’s career is more dame Lillard than lebron :beli:

So we gonna pretend like Bron didn’t form super teams at every stop instead of grinding to the top

no need to leave it out

bron not dumb why should he face stacked rosters without a supporting cast¿

his first run with the cavs & what he did when his title winning heat/cavs² rosters started falling apart health wise etcetera shows that golden ticket status

he always was facing favored competition it was never a case of bullying weak competition

you fault mj for running with the bulls¿

no right¿
