So we gonna pretend like Bron didn’t form super teams at every stop instead of grinding to the top
Still was that uncontested alpha, and FMVP, for all his chips. As was Mike for his 6. As was dream for his 2. As was Shaq for his first 3

I respect the hell out of the guys who had to be THE GUY win or lose. That’s why I highly detest people who compare guys who were NOT 1s with guys who were. Bron been taking the shots (literally and figuratively) that a #1 gets while Steph has had the luxury to duck them (literally and figuratively )

Steph ain’t had to walk the gauntlet bron did, so to even compare them after the fact is weak

no need to leave it out

bron not dumb why should he face stacked rosters without a supporting cast¿

his first run with the cavs & what he did when his title winning heat/cavs² rosters started falling apart health wise etcetera shows that golden ticket status

he always was facing favored competition it was never a case of bullying weak competition

you fault mj for running with the bulls¿

no right¿

MJ got drafted to the Bulls when they sucked, Steph got drafted to the Warriors when they sucked and Bron got drafted to the Cavs when they sucked. Bron didn’t want to climb so he took the elevator.

Curry and Jordan had squads that drafted HOFers, Lebron's team drafted JJ Hickson and Luke Jackson.

bulls stepped up as a franchise

gsw stepped up as a franchise

cavs were in love with failure to the point they couldn't get it together

shyte was a bad relationship

bron took them out the lottery & they went right back as soon as he left everytime

they just recently shaking that black cloud over the franchise it seems

this the first time they haven't been lottery tier without bron

It's been Steph, but it's such an arbitrary measure though given we all know Bron has the better career.

If anything it's a testament to how great #30 is, that he's been able to go toe-to-toe with arguably the GOAT. And that nobody should use that as a slight against Bron because Steph would do the same with your favorite player.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
It's a draw the last 10 years. Which IS a credit to Steph, because 11 years ago he wasn't on this kind of trajectory or radar. To become this out of seemingly nowhere, in a league LeBron singularly owned, is a testament to Steph's own magnetism...

In Y20 LeBron is still the most popular player in basketball, he's the leading fan vote getter for All-Star. Steph has been on a 10-year tear and that's the thing, he's never surpassed Bron's popularity or placement as face of The League. Because even though the specific question was "last 10 years", we all know we're comparing him to a guy whose been on a 20-year tear. There's too many arguments that can be made for or against either in the last decade...

LeBron's career, and his prime, didn't start in 2013. Steph's prime did start in 2013. We're comparing a decade of a player's entire run vs the back side of another guy's run. That's why it's a draw...

One of the poorest arguments for Steph in this topic are "more rings". He has two as a #1. The same as LeBron. In half the Finals appearances ('15, '16, '22) as LeBron in the same span of time ('14, '15, '16, '17, '18, '20), who was his team's best player every single time out. And all four years they met each other in The Finals there isn't a single series anyone felt, with any real conviction, that Steph was a better player than LeBron...

Steph's teams were better...

When it was just those two matched up together, they are 1-1. Some people feel like if Dray isn't suspended, Steph is 2-0. Some people feel like if Kyrie and Love aren't hurt, Bron is 2-0. They are 1-1 vs each other in The Finals when its just them at each other...

We don't have to go into the Durant part of this too deep. We all know that all titles aren't won the same. All four of his rings matter but Steph's '15 and '22 titles are HIS championships. We don't need to act like we don't know what this means to people...

Steph did change the way basketball is played. He's the face of a dynasty. He's the consummate teammate, consummate professional. Greatest shooter ever, Top 15 player ever. He's 3-1 in The Finals vs the greatest player ever, this 3-1 record matters to some people. He has twice as many total rings as Bron in the last decade, this matters to some people. It also matters to some people that Steph didn't "team hop"...

It's a draw, 2013-14 to 2022-23, past 10 years of basketball...

Mad Dog and J will debate

2013-2022

Just over that timeframe

Lebron - 3 Rings, 3 Finals MVPs, 7 1st Team all nba, 1st Team all defense

Steph - 4 rings, 1 Finals MVP, 4 1st Team all nba

to be slick and not count 2012 when LBj won his first ring and his 3rd MVP? Wow the goal post moving ain't even being hidden anymore 😂

Luka has averaged more points rebounds and assists than lebron in the playoffs

This is not the argument you want to be making

Just going stat for stat Luka is on pace to kill LeBron, at least based on averages. Luka probably won't have the longevity.

But when the mass media gets on the Luka hype train, that's when Bron stans will bring up rings. Vicious cycle these guys are apart of.
