I remember when Blackish and Fresh Off The Boat got greenlit. A lot of the complaints about those shows echo some of the posts in here.some of yall sound like the racist white folks whenever they see black folks in roles that aren't gangsters or slaves![]()
Her love life wasn’t part of the story, and it wasn’t even broached beyond her being gay. What was the point of her revealing it if it wasn’t just to pander? So they can waste time on a storyline about her love life? Someone here would make a whole thread about it slowing the pace of the show down then![]()
Yes.
The "forced" narrative is so dumb and self-centered.
She told Steve she wasn't into him cause she liked girls. Yall making it more than it is.Her love life wasn’t part of the story, and it wasn’t even broached beyond her being gay. What was the point of her revealing it if it wasn’t just to pander?
if it makes sense, yea, but nothing like a forced diversity character or storyline. hate seeing white shows shoehorn a black person in for no reason, in the same way i hate seeing some random LGBT experience/character pop up outta no where (kinda like jaden's character in the get down)
gay people are about 10% of the population
Plenty of white people have all white circles of friends. You can tell when a black person is introduce for their diversity quota...like Ross dating a black chick on friends. How do you shoehorn a black person in for no reason. if anything you just notice it more because they were going out of their way to exclude us before. Black people are all over this country, there is no reason any tv show should not include a black person in a main role.
Lol. Where do yall get these ridiculous statements from. They are 2% to 3% of the population at best.
