Tbh it's just with modern entertainment for some reason. Me and my girl will watch movies from the 70s-2000s and I can sit and focus 100% without needing to look at my phone.

Ngl I don’t have the time for a 2 hour plus movie anymore unless I’m at a theater. Trying to watch 2 hour at home is guaranteed nap time.

It's the motherfukking phones. We can't put them down. If an ad comes on everyone reaches for their phones and the show or movie comes back on but it's too late because now we're scrolling through some endless bs that we won't remember 5 minutes later.
I used to be able to watch nfl and nba with my brothers but they on their phones the entire time. Barely watching. The phone is designed to keep your attention on it 24/7. It's a real disease.
