i look at the current dispute over democratic inaction on israel, in the midst of an election, from a utilitarian standpoint.



looking at this illustration, instead of reducing the palestinians to the lone figure, i would rather say that it represents staying the course and working on a ceasefire without being too condemnatory - in word and deed - of israel and its actions.

the group of figures is representative of initiating an arms embargo, pulling funding, and threatening israel with sanctions if it doesn’t put an immediate halt to the bombings.

there is, of course, clear moral justification for the second choice. i doubt anyone will disagree that a huge cry of relief would be heard if that happened.

but, doing so would almost certainly guarantee trump wins.

I will give you one simple reason why all of what you stated above is BS.... The Democrats already hold the Presidency. They could have done something about awhile back, not have to wait on Kamala to do it. It also was not important to her while she has the ear of the President as the VP and democratic nominee.

Well the protesters should be at his events too. I don’t know if they’re at Trump rallies because I never see it posted. I never see them when I’m personally at Trump rallies.
