Basically. She better off just signing a new lease somewhere.
Pretty much, the scenario doesn't indicate she cant afford it, just that the price went up, like all rental properties do.

I'm cool with someone wanting to split the bills, although I think this scenario would be very different if the parties roles were reversed.

What is she doing with the money SHE ia saving?

I

Banking it and putting it towards y'all 'joint savings' or her savings. Y'all both saving money if you split the living expenses. It ain't a big deal. The house is paid off in yo name, it ain't like she can take the shyt :manny:

I'd probably charge her $1000 flat for living expenses + house maintenance. Both parties happy in that circumstance

Charging your girl rent. You sound like a damn fool.:russ:She's already paying rent, she can stay where she is. She was already paying it.

I'm on both sides of the fence. Owning a house isn't cheap :ufdup:and if you living there you have to put something in the pot.

Her other situation $2000 rent + $400 food + $300 HOA. She easily saving $1000 living with ole boy.

No mam... It is exactly about what should she pay... Hence why this thread is 20 plus pages... If I could afford 2k a month in rent and you were my girl and your home was paid off..... I could come live at your crib and only contribute 300 dollars a month? :lupe:
:gucci: $300/ mo was never an option.

You just making shyt up to be mad about at this point. :heh:

Split the bills. That's more than fair. You're making up fictious numbers for the purpose of getting over.

In the scenario she already has 2k rent anyway, so she might as well stay where she is.

Then she need to stay where she is... It’s just that simple...... If you’re a dude, do you think you can lay up in a girls’s crib who has a plethora of options as far as male suitors are concerned for just 250 to 309 dollars a month?

Breh houses require maintenance. Every landlord has emergency funds just in case. Could be a $10,000 roof, $6000 AC unit, $3000 plumbing repair, termite damage, anything.

That's why I say charge her $1000 flat and she'll still be saving damn near $1500/month

And I'm not making fictional numbers. She most likely lives in the city. Food ain't cheap and she gotta worry about HOA fees, parking fees. Ole girl is paying something like $3000/month all day long. Tell me I'm wrong and my numbers are off, I know they aint:gucci:

Sounds like that's the choice she made. She declined.

As for your scenario, if your girl has other options, she aint your girl. Once again you sound like a fool.:russ:
