Yes it will. It will also help you develop the V back alot quicker. In fact pullups are more effective than a full back workout with weights.

Not true. Lat pull downs and pull ups have the same lat activation. Pull ups activate the biceps and erectors more but if you're trying to isolate the lats you may not want that.

Calisthenics is real functional strength and if you stop working out you’ll still have a physique and strength due to it being more of the real deal

exactly I even saw a dude suggest using sandbags and other items as if they aren’t also weighted movements....I am confused as to why some of these cats try to box fitness into a one activity event.

Every single exercise can be weighted.

You can do every variation of pushup with a weighted vest
Every variation of muscle up with hanging weights or a vest
This idea that added weights to an exercise makes it no longer functional absolute bullshyt :heh:

Unless we gonna pretend that people don't do pullups or pushups in the gym :dead:

It depend on how you approach calesthinics

if you still following progressive overload you can get bigger without having traditional barbells/dumbbell/machine exercises

You could fill a empty milk jug with sand and strap them bytches to a belt and do pullups and dips :mjgrin:



you will damage your joints.
that is all you doing.

fukk some dips and some pullups.

The reason you guys are saying people that lift weight fall off after they stop is because you guys are using steroid users as an example. Yeah, they stop lifting and stop doing steroids, so of course they look like sh1t very quickly after they stop.



most of these nikkaz on here all powder, tub and vial off top.

Calisthenics are the shyt because you dont need weights. what happens when theres no gym for you to lift or the gym membership is way too much where they overcharge? That shyt comes in handy. I'm trying to learn that shyt and be just as good as the dudes doing that shyt on YouTube.
