Look I'm very happy that JF is thriving on a new team with a competent environment and coach. There is no way to know if he would have looked any different than last year, here. then you have to pay him 40-50 million. Its a no brainer to take the rookie. The issue is they neglected the OLine, or Waldron is not putting them in situations to have sucess like Kmet blocking Latu. I seriously hope we aren't going to go a whole year comparing what justin is doing with what a rookie is doing (and considering how abysmal the run game is he is ironically being asked to do more). Caleb threw for almost 400 yards in his 3rd start. It wasn't a mistake to take him, the talent is obviously there and the bears weren't winning the super bowl this year anyway so as long as he continues to show he can reach his potential, win like 8 or so games, the year is a success. Unless you thought this was a super bowl team?
