This whole situation was doomed from the start

”Monty” didn’t even want the job they forced him to take it by offering him a ridiculous contract

He basically got a player’s contract

He wanted to take some time off and the Pistons was not taking no for an answer and took it clearly only for the money

These teams need an infusion of NBA Vets in key roles. You cant just hand the keys to a bunch of young dudes who play like its the AAU.

They have some talent tho. I'd trade for Chris Paul right now. I dont think Chris would want to join tho.. but it aint like Golden St a contender either. Worth a try..

Marcus Smart hurt right now, but you may wanna see where Memphis at with this season. They might be willing to trade him.


I'd also find a few other role playing vets. When the trade deadline?

Cade is playing out of position I’m willing to die on that hill. He can be your point forward but he shouldn’t be your point guard. Jaden Ivey ain’t it as a lead guard either. I need to see more of Sasser before I speak on him. The best shot creators can’t shoot efficiently and spacing is a big problem for them. It’s just too many scrubs and dudes who need a change a scenery on the team.

That’s still not going to solve the fundamental problem with that team in that there’s no high end talent on the roster.

Bringing in CP3 and Smart isn’t going to move the margins like that.

Blows my mind every time they show Bagley and Wiseman on the bench side by side cause I be thinking "that's literally two number 2 overall picks the pistons got and they to sorry to get any real burn on the court"
