The league simply isn't deep enough for expansion but nobody wants to hear it. Just cuz a couple of teams here and there have really good depth doesn't mean we need 2 more teams. Mind you, there are players in the league who could use more PT, but there's a difference between that and giving someone an expansion team initially built around them.

The 2nd part is where I disagree (and honestly, moving it to a new city isn't gonna mean much if the ownership still sucks). The Wizards don't suck because of Washington, DC. When the Sixers were bad, Philadelphia wasn't a contributing factor. Some cities have a WAY harder shot at competing in the NBA, but it's doesn't really apply in this case. Simply relocating the Pistons to Vegas doesn't make them better; they'll just be ass in a different time zone.
I’m just saying for the teams that don’t get support and struggle to attract fans. Move them.

Not too long ago, that was Denver. Just a year ago that was OKC. A team like the Knicks (and the Bulls now) can be ass for years and it's not gonna reflect in the attendance because MSG is a tourist trap.

Normal cities will support if the product is good. If it's not, those residents will do something else. The concerning ones are the ones who put in work and are good, but still get no support anyway (think Tampa Bay Rays). The Wizards and Pistons lately it's tough to tell because they haven't been good in a long time and they don't have big time star attractions (I kinda don't really label Cade as that tbh). In order to get crowds back on your side, you gotta do better than this that's for sure. A die hard will go watch Marcus Sasser. A casual will wait til Sasser's either throwing lobs to Giannis or if he becomes a star himself.

No expansion! lol I mean if you’re going to expand then you’ll have to change the rules about allowing guys to leave after one year of college. Something would have to give.

Ausar has proven himself to be a better talent than Cade, once he learns to shoot it's his team going forward.
No he hasn’t :russ: can’t shoot pass or dribble at an elite level. His biggest attributes are defense and energy. Cade ceiling is substantially higher. Cade needs Monty or some coach to pull him aside like Ime did Jalen a couple of games ago and coach him up. Dude already missed a whole season. I’m not sure if Monty knows what’s he signed up for but he really needs to start from the ground and coach these guys up. Pistons put a lot of blind faith in that dude to shift the culture
No rookie has ever turned down a max contract extension and Cade wouldn’t either if offered. It’s too much money in that 5th year to do so.

Take the money and worry about the rest later.
Exactly. If anything Detroit will trade him before he leaves

Legit might not see a win for the rest of this year

that roster is fukking dogshyt. like serious dogshyt. No coach would have those boys playing. Best case would be a coach has them at 4 wins instead of 2 wins. IDK if i can blame monty for all this. Their GM put a shyt roster together.

strong agree. those 3 are your guys. MAYBE Beef Stew depending on the day. But everything else is a dumpster fire.

It can't be year 4 of a rebuild and you have no assets, bad players around your main guys, and still the worst team in the league. That's just terrible GM'ing. The Pistons are 1 loss away from having a historic 15 game losing streak. They've never done that before apparently. When that happens, Weaver should be fired before the game ends. There's no excuse to still be this putrid after 4 years. A kid got accepted to college, did orientation, went to college and then graduated, and your franchise is still in the shytter? Nah, someone gotta be fired :manny:

What’s historic about a 15 game losing streak? It’s been done before and recently. I know :francis:

They should’ve overpaid and thrown an offer sheet to Cam Johnson, he got $108 mil, they could’ve thrown more at him. He’s exactly what they need
