Houston knows they messed up with the Culley firing. They were going to hire McCown but they want to be slick about it. Once Texans go 3-14 next season especially with poor QB play they will probably hire McCown and fire Lovie. As for the Dolphins that coach they hired isnt black . NFL fail once again not giving Leftwich,Bowles,Raheem,Bienemy a chance :mindblown: .I want to be optimistic but this league just isnt meant for us to be in power. Fine they dont want us as coach ok but if we ever needed a black owner its now.I hope in our lifetime it happens.

That's why I'm thinking they just have to add more teams. These Owners will never give up power over these teams. Some of these teams have it running through the family too. Again I'm done with the benefit of the doubt. The Rooney Rule did help in some areas but now it's clearly not working as it intended. I agree with you about the current teams. They will never give them up to Black Ownership. If you can add a 17th Regular Season game and 2 new playoff teams than some new Expansion Teams with non white Ownership can be done as well. And yes I know about the Black Billionaire group, that was messed up. There's a reason we had the Negro Leagues in baseball originally. As you know we were shut out of all these sports at one time. Sports have integrated since those leagues but ownership level hasn't. I saw that that NBA actually has 14 out of 30 coaches are Black. But even in the NBA, MJ is the only Black majority owner though there are Black owners with minority stakes.
At the end of the day it comes down to does a old white man trust a black man with in billions.

Most Fortune 500 companies don’t have black CEO’s.

The same thing goes on in college football, the only difference is we have HBCU’s.

which goes back to my point of the importance of HBCU’s rising competitively and financially.

This is why I keep telling y'all that this issue will not be solved by White folks. It will be solved by Black folks.

We're gonna have to stop giving away our money and best amateur talent to these PWIs.

We're gonna need to go all in on HBCUs and create a pipeline of players and coaches who are NFL ready.

Then, we're gonna need players to take a stand and support Black coaches.

I mean, REALLY support Black coaches.

I mean great players going to teams specifically because they have a Black coach and you want to be down for the cause.

This is an issue with how we're raised in the Black community to not stay on code when we have the opportunity to get each other jobs the way White folks do.

You can hbcu pipeline athlete coach all you want, CAC owners don't have to give a fukk and or pay attention to them. There's already qualified Black men more than capable of taking teams to the next level and they getting over looked.

But some folk take this to mean that there aren’t enough qualified black candidates which is bullshyt. I’ve seen that argument used time and time again to explain this shyt. This shyt happens everywhere.
I’ve talked about this elsewhere but people act like the racism starts at ends at the top. They ignore that a lot of times the racism starts at the lower levels. We have trouble even getting promoted to manager levels in a lot of places. All it takes is that one fukked up manager anywhere through the process to delay our career progression. Then the higher up the ladder you go then they can use the “lack of experience” or “not enough qualified black candidates” which happens because we aren’t put in positions to succeed early on in the process.

Basically undermining the Lovie hire. They need to add another 15 black head coaches before I let up on their BS.
You wont let up? Lol who are you besides a dude who still watches the NFL after they dumped on your idol in your avatar?

It might be a hard sell for some of the top athletes to go to HBCUs, but I think going to a PWI with a black head coach would be the next best thing. It'd be dope if players at least were going to Michigan State, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Maryland etc

That's why I said the next part, which is PLAYERS HAVE TO TAKE A STAND AND SUPPORT BLACK COACHES.

If these owners knew they'd have mutinies on their hands without Black coaches, bet they'd act right. :sas2:

Dudes in here criticizing the NFL for not hiring black coaches and GM then making excuses for Joe Rogan in other threads.

The the the coli. Com:mjlol:

You're comparing a stand up comedian making jokes to employment discrimination?:what:

Joe Roegan doesn't hire or effect the lives of any Black people at all, whereas the NFL makes millions off of the backs of Blacks but has 2 Black coaches and zero owners.:beli:
