Mistake hiring him in the first place, good guy but he didn't have near enough experience to be the HC of the team. He was taking over a really bad team also.
So who would’ve been the right hire with this shytty roster? Who would’ve won 9 games with this team this year and injuries? I’m sorry but it’s hard for me being a black pats fan right now and anyone cosigning this shyt is a dikkhead. They didn’t even let the dude get until tomorrow. This would be like if Notre Dame fired their head coach after last year and then you never get this year.

Pats fans never wanted Mayo to succeed. Now you get to have Vrabel who has never had any semblance of a competent offense and got bailed out be Henry like young guys want.

People that never post in NFL Game threads or talk about shyt that happens on a week to week basis now suddenly got an opinion on this :mjlol:

There's no way they paid any attention to the Patriots this season. It was an absolute disaster. There was NOTHING that team did well.
Just like everyone was a Sacramento Kings expert after they fired Mike Brown.

If he would’ve played Drake Maye they would’ve lost

Maye was 1-10 as a starter and Milton looked more competent than Maye has all season

Who benches their rookie QB in the last game of the season :dead:

:dead:THIS WAS MILTONS
FIRST GAME OF HIS CAREER

Terrible hire. Only issue is that normally if a GM hires a coach so bad that he has to be fired after 1 year, the GM's job should be on shaky ground for such a terrible hire. But the Krafts made the decision and can't be held responsible.

Vrabel or Ben Johnson. Winning today hurts because they could have had the #1 pick and traded down to get more ammo while still getting their guy (Will Campbell?).

That or Vrable. Unlike other franchises, Patriots has a stable management for the most part.
No they don’t. They had Tom Brady. Kraft hired Parcells and he left, hired Pete Carroll and fired him, got Belli - he started off mid and was about to be fired and then Brady happened and then Kraft had been going scorched earth on Bill ever since Tom left. Kraft is every other owner in the NFL who just so happened to have the perfect marriage of Brady and Bellicheck for 20 years. He doesn’t any special secret sauce aside from staying out of the football stuff.

I get you, I'm surprised they pushed the button and thought he would get another season BUT I think hiring him wasn't the right decision if you think about it. The mistake was made last season hiring him and not really feeling out other HC's. They lined up Mayo immediately and it was mainly down to him being a good guy that the players respected but I feel he needed more experience before taking over such a shyt show. Not sure what else happened behind closed doors because Kraft has always had a liking to Mayo so I doubt this was an easy decision. The OC and DC I thought would be gone this off season and Mayo would be given another but we need someone who has been there before or has extensive experience now.

The Patriots’ guy was never Will Campbell. It will be Will Johnson or Mason Graham if they have any sense.
