I think this firing happened today, because Kraft was PISSED that the Pats won today. Why did they start Milton today by the way? Is Maye hurt or something? If Maye is fine, it makes no sense to sit out Maye today. Caleb played, and the Bears are out of it. Pats management & ownership must’ve been pissed at the pointless win today.

The Pats came into today holding the #1 pick. All they had to do was lose today, and they would’ve locked up pick 1. Since they don’t need a QB, they could’ve asked for a haul from a QB needy team like NYG or LV. They could’ve gotten a haul like Chicago got from Carolina for pick 1. What a devastating win. They could’ve had a premium haul of picks, and now they got nothing by picking 4.

they hired the man. If you’re not going to allow him to grow into the role why even make the hire? It looks like completely bullshyt. Unless it was a neglect of of his responsibilities like Urban Meyer, you hired a first time head coach - this 100% deserves criticism for the Pats

it is actually pretty degusting a guy who has been a part of the organization as a player or coach for almost 15 years and you treat him like lane kiffin at usc

I agree.

If there's no financial reason, then I don't understand the timing being today. Could have waited 24 hours and done it then. This timing seems pretty disrespectful.

I don't think many were willing to give Mayo a real chance. I think most Patriots fans have just wanted Vrabel since last off-season.

what happened in Foxboro where you get fired after just one season where you have a rookie QB and a rebuilding roster?

unless something catastrophic happened(Urban Meyer level of dysfunction), you can’t fire a coach after one season, that’s some bullshyt

and they did that like an hour after the game ended?

I still want to know how a coach with a rookie qb, 0 wrs who have ever caught more than 60 catches in a season or had 1,000 receiving yards, a starting rb with hands like ahman green looked lost all there
If he would’ve played Drake Maye they would’ve lost

Maye was 1-10 as a starter and Milton looked more competent than Maye has all season

Who benches their rookie QB in the last game of the season :dead:

And it was stupid of Kraft to do so, this maybe news to you but the fanbase and anyone watching the team knows this was a bad hire. I have no problem ending a relationship if there is no future
