As a Lions fan, I'm pretty intrigued to see how this goes for Johnson. Personally, I've felt he's overrated but he's had an insane amount of hype the past couple years. We will find out if he's the guy people say he is.

Will be interesting to see who gets thrown under bus first if it doesnt work, Caleb or Johnson.

I feel like Caleb will be given around the same leash as Lawrence. Ben Johnson is fired before they give up on Caleb unless Caleb is so bad without flashing much he's close to unstartable.

Explains a lot about the offensive play-calling in that game. The body was there, but the spirit wasn’t.:martin:
These coordinates always blow it in big playoff games when they have another job dialed up. Dan Quinn did the same shyt in Dallas last year.

I'm not saying that goad coaches don't have good rosters but Ben Johnson had some very talented offenses at the skill positions. I feel like it propped him up. Aaron Glenn on the other hand had to make it work with what he had. Of the two I'd have more confidence in him going forward.

I need more analysis from someone who's watched every single game he's called over the last 3 years

:unimpressed:

Is he nice or not, tf is this, "We will find out..." shyt about from Lions fan. Are y'all going to remain at the same level on offense and will the Bears offense improve IYO

His feel for the game is questionable and he has a lot of “smartest guy in the room” calls. This will sound odd, but despite the overall success of Detroit’s offense, there was a consistent struggle to keep everybody involved and there would be prolonged slumps during games.

Gibbs is their best player; he had 14 carries on Saturday. Jamo is their deep threat; he had one catch. Maybe you wanna blame Goof for that. Do you think Caleb is gonna do better?

St. Brown usually got his but week-to-week, it was a toss-up whether you even noticed LaPorta or Jamo on the field.

Not to mention, the biggest drive of the season and he has Jamo doing a reverse pass. That was the first attempt of his career. :snoop:

All that said Detroit averaged like 35 points a game this season :dead:

ya'll defense couldn't stop a varsity squad but it seems BJ is getting all the blame.

This raises some level of concern for me... because the Bears have had plenty of play callers that would do "interesting" stuff to say the least over the last few years.

Bears hardly targeted Kmet this season, so he may get fukked again seeing what you're saying about LaPorta

:patrice:

Did Ben not trust Golf's deep ball to throw it up to Jamo more? What's backstory behind that? It should be interesting how this pans out because Golf was pretty accurate if I'm not mistaken, and Caleb's accuracy was dogshyt, so I'm good with the hire, there's still some things that are up in the air on how well this is going to work given the stuff I saw from Williams in his rookie year.

Man you can go look at the stats laporta was top 6 in receiving yards and tied for 3rd in tds for TE in 16 games, these nikkas just tight they boy wonder left and they out the playoffs. you don't average 35 points a game without knowing how to use personnel.
