Nobody knows what Kraft is on, with the current state of the team why would you hire a rookie coach and put him that situation? everybody has been asking this from the jump
watch the next dude come in, probably Vrabel, win 7 games and be retained

It’s Better to start the Rookie that’s 1-10.
IF YOURE TRYING TO LOSE A GAME
DOES IT MAKE MORE SENSE TO
START A ROOKIE WITH 11 STARTS
OR START A ROOKIE WHOS NEVER
TAKEN A SNAP IN THE NFL?
YOU LOGIC MADE NO SENSE.
It’s Better to start the Rookie that’s 1-10.
It don’t take much to be better than Maye
I never want to hear the experience card being used when there were multiple teams trying to figure out how they could hire Josh McNown 2 offseasons ago with his only experience being a volunteer HS QB coach
Last season with 4 wins, you could see they still had a well drilled defense.
Dan Campbell's first season with 3 wins, you could see how hard the team competed.
Kyle Shanahan's first season with San Francisco they had what at the time was an innovative offense before Jimmy G went down.
Brian Flores first season in Miami between all that chaos and sabotage from his own front office, they had a well drilled defense and competed hard especially towards the end of the season.
Regardless of roster and wins, good coaches show you what they do well.
What did Mayo show?
You're a trolling Bills fan anyway so I don't expect a serious answer.
They were AWFUL despite having one of the easiest schedules in the NFL and were somehow getting progressively worse. Spare me the fake militancy.
underperforming what exactly. I need to know what the expectations were this team as constructed before we start talking about under performance and what not.
I feel like more people are upset that he was not able to elevate the dumpster fire of an organization which is a ridiculous bar to place on a coach in year one.
Jerod Mayo show what he did well as a coach because Detroit had those players. Great answer.that 3 win lions team had jared goff, d'andre wift, amon ra st. brown, tj hockensen They had friggin talent of course it looked like they were competing because they had talent
Agreed. Mayo might have been a bad coach but the dumb owner did him no favors. Why do something so dumb and pick a guy who has no coaching experience to run the team then fire him the next year? It was a dumb decision to hire him in the first place.
This firing was quick though. Like he got fired on the field
If they didn’t feel like he was building a culture to go win and compete for a championship then he needed to go. You can see if someone is cut out for a role based on how they’re managing the team, developing players, building a winning culture. If that wasn’t happening then breh was likely gonna get fired, it’s not just about wins/losses
expecting franchises to just accept losing and inferior coaching
I don’t think rookie coaches should ever be paired with a rookie qb and a rebuilding roster. It was a mistake from the beginning
