i mean looking at the record and overall team roster folks would say what more were the pats expecting
but how many of you wanting him to get an extra year watched pats games to give a fair list of what he did good to keep his job

i always say people say coach need extra year but how many of you would want Mayo as HC for ya team

He got fired because Drake Maye showed promise.

Black coaches never get the keys to a good QB unless they win right away like Ryans, Tomlin etc.

Good white QB? They will do anything to get some young, white hotshot in there so the white HC gets all the shine.

I guaranteed if they didn't have a promising young QB, Mayo might have gotten at least one more year...maybe 2.
What promise did Maye show? Mac Jones had a better rookie year

We hired Mayo in the first place. Many wouldn't have thought they would see Patriots coached by a black coach but they did. He wouldn't be gone has they played better and didn't call his team soft publicly. This is a Kraft mistake, we didn't see enough from Mayo to make him the HC.

Having the #4 pick isn’t even a bad deal for the Pats. They will damn near be forced to pick the best WR in the draft

Team was ass. Black coaches always expected to turn miracles. White coaches get all kinds of excuses. Not trying to be that guy but it's clear. I swear they throw black coaches a bone for kamakaze jobs then a year later can them and say "the team didn't play well". Well, assemble a talented team.

the bills have scored over 22 points in every single game this year except for this game
the bills put out mitch trubisky who only had 100 passing yards
patriots ran the ball 30 times for 77 yards
even vegas favored the bills

Yeah. The Bills did what was smart.

If your defense of the Patriots is that Vegas thought Mayo couldn't get his team to run the ball 40 or 50 times per game to make sure he had the gig next year it's a good defense of him. I refuse to believe that he wasn't aware a loss meant he had a chance and a win meant he's gone considering how quickly they gave him the hook.

I agree they gave him a shyt roster, but he's a dumbass if he knew losing gave him a better chance to stay and he let his OC continue to call all of those passes in the 2nd half.
