:sas1: Depends on what you mean by politically "active."

Your article:

  • PODER PAC
: PODER PAC is a political action committee founded by and for Latinas to elect pro-choice Latinas to Congress. PODER provides resources and support to Latina candidates running for federal offices who have demonstrated a commitment to the Latino community.

  • Latino Victory Fund: The Latino Victory Fund is committed to increasing Latino representation in government to be commensurate with Latino population growth. To that end, the Latino Victory Fund supports progressive Latinx candidates at every office level to build a more reflective government.

  • Higher Heights for America PAC: Higher Heights for America PAC is a political action committee providing Black women with a political home exclusively dedicated to harnessing their power. They aim to advance progressive policies and expand Black women’s civic engagement from elected representation to voting participation. [???]

  • Latina Civic PAC: Latinas Civic PAC is a non-partisan political action committee whose mission is to increase the number of Latinas in elected and appointed office in the State of New Jersey. This committee supports progressive Latina candidates who are committed to advancing a policy agenda that prioritizes women’s economic, social, and emotional welfare while also prioritizing the expansion of educational opportunities for all.

  • New American Leaders Action Fund: The New American Leaders Action Fund (NALAF) is committed to increasing New American representation at all levels of our democracy. NALAF supports candidates grounded in community who want to create an inclusive and welcoming country for New Americans and who want to create a healthy democracy for all.

  • Latinas Lead California: Latinas Lead California is the first and only non-partisan political action committee dedicated to increasing the number of Latinas in elected office, appointments, and other prominent leadership positions in California.

  • BOLD PAC: BOLD PAC is the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus dedicated to increasing the diversity of Latino leadership in the U.S. House and Senate. They are committed to ensuring that progressive Latino, especially Latina, candidates have the resources they need to run and win.

PAC that's the topic of the thread:

Black Men Vote PAC has a proven record of engaging and empowering Black men to transform our politics. In 2020, our work helped ensure historic turnout and registration of Black voters in Georgia, making a critical difference in the general and run-off elections. Our work to register, organize, turnout and empower Black men could make all the difference in 2024.

Notice how everything for bp is 'increase civic engagement' type shyt whereas latinos trynna actually get elected.

I don't think your article makes the point you intended. :francis:

Meaningless babble.

Sounding like a right wing troll.

Of course we should ask for something for our vote and put pressure on these folks.

But to disengage is stupid even Yverre knows that.

Have any of these social media critiques made their own PACs to combat this or just rant on twitter, tiktok or youtube?
There was a handful that tried early on under ADOS and they were called out directly by Yvette and Tone and pretty much blacklisted by their followers as a result

I hear you, that will fall on almost as many deaf ears. Right now, with Kamala's lack of policy, that could do more damage actually. There is a reason their whole platform is "attack Trump".
The people that are being shame likely care very little about the details any candidate’s policy. If they did, they probably wouldn’t be considering Trump in the first place. They’d vote for 3rd party before Trump, if that’s what they really cared about.

Keep it 100. You see how shills like @BaggerofTea and @Born2BKing are in the cornel west thread calling him a sellout because hes in 3rd party running against copmala. Thats the problem. We got democrat shills in here trying to harass forum members with this political shyt thinking they have the power to force people to vote a certain way. Even going as far as to falsely report folks who arent down with their bytch asses so they cant post. shyt is going to stop though. Time to get clowns on out of here. Dont know why the mods are protecting or even listening to these losers. They gotta go.

Ya'll keep thinking people vote based on policy is the funny part

Here's a non black example

Most Americans have not seen, read or heard much about the Inflation Reduction Act and the bipartisan infrastructure law, according to polling conducted by POLITICO in May. The IRA is the better known, though only 17 percent of respondents said they had heard “a lot” about the law while 35 percent said they heard “some” and the rest knew little to nothing.

As is the case in Middletown, many people in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin don’t acknowledge the law’s champions, the poll showed. Just 42 percent of respondents gave Biden credit for infrastructure improvements while 36 percent gave Trump credit, though he never passed a major infrastructure bill.

Kwame Brown Slams Political Gatekeepers For Pressuring Voters Toward VP Harris

In a rant that went viral on social media, Brown criticized these celebrities for what he sees as their efforts to shame Black Americans into voting for Harris based solely on her race, rather than her policies or their personal convictions.

Of course a Foundational Mega Breh would post Kwame Brown, he FMB as well. :russ:
