That's fine breh. But don't act like a need for black doctors or lawyers isn't going be just as important especially with how racist our society is. College leads to those doctors and lawyers.

I never implied we didnt need black lawyers and doctors. I just said brehs are going elsewhere and trade school is a better choice you can't force dudes into college into a field they're not interested in.

If you ask me black folks making economic gains is the most important in beating white supremacy. That could be Doctor, lawyer, or trades

Black women earned where they are at. It’s not at the expense of us because when qualified black men are available, they make more on the dollar than Black women. So it’s not coming at our expense.

They’re simply isn’t enough of us making ourselves worthy. There’s no propping up. Black women are educating themselves and earning their stripes..

I’m just comparing resources that are available for each gender and the energy that is put into each gender. No, black women aren’t thriving at the expense of black men. However, as a gender, they are given more opportunities and societal backing as opposed to young black men.

As Ive said before, Ive become less and less impressed by Black male leadership over the years. We are at the point that niqqas will post Charleston White as a valid source.

Dr Umar
Tariq
Kanye

So many of these guys are unimpressive yet have a stranglehold on what is considered Black male intellectualism. Its sad.
Literally umar main message is black education

propped up is the wrong word but they check off being a woman and being a minority.

like any other applicant, yes your resume helps but how your employment will reflect on the company also plays a factor.

Yeah. propped up wasn’t the right word perse…. I don’t th ink they’re being propped up over black boys….. it’s moreso they have been given more opportunities to be selected so to speak

I'm waiting for posters to blame feminism at this point.

They would be extremely wrong as some of the staunchest ones that have books out see the decline in men as a whole as a problem that needs solving.

When you go to college you have to go a few years of being broke. Men want to make money as soon as possible. We are on a clock the same way women are on a clock to get married and have kids.

I almost dropped out of college my sophomore year and take a job at a factory but my pops stayed on my ass and told me to push through. Glad I did.

Look at what happened when Obama made My Brother's Keeper. Also talk to people. A lot of society thinks being male is synonymous with being privileged. We get screwed as a result. I want Black women and men to succeed but you have to concede that women have been propped up more and men have been seen as invisible in our society. Richard Reeves is on the forefront to help young boys and men. Even though hes a British dude, he talks in his book about the experiences of his Black stepson and how that's impacted his work.
The goal always been to make sure women are educated ever since the plantation days but I don’t see that as being propped up the educational environment just seems profemenist

You need to ask yourself . Why were men getting jobs in the past? Besides an ability to feed oneself what did it provide? Does it still do that?

We are not asking any questions. We're just saying I don't understand. We need to ask young brothers why. Do they not know? Do they not want to take the risk? What is it?

Historically, men often got cars, jobs, and housing to attract women and start a family. Marriage rates have increased over the last few years…we know many men are still marriage minded. The idea that men have killed their ambitions and no longer pursue success because “women are bad/hoes/mean/etc” is nonsense. It’s gonna be something else.

White men will say they don’t chase jobs because they don’t want slave wages…yet they don’t move an inch to pursue lucrative jobs that don’t require a degree.

My theory is that our society has reached a comfort point where a lot of men are content just to get by as long as they can play video games, watch movies, browse the internet, and buy some entertainment items. You can do that with a meh job and a roommate in many areas of the country. They have no interest in women, they don’t have basic social skills and they just want to be in a dark room by themselves after work.

They create more opportunities for themselves.

How is it they can have an essencefest and we as men dont? Is that their fault?
