Maybe, maybe not.

If you look at median wages though, black men still make more than black women.

True. And that’s a good point… I think school all the way up to the university level is designed more for young women than men at the moment. Even white males are seeing a decline in enrollment. It’s kind of like how black male leadership let the church become what it is today, which is strictly cathartic preaching to give sistas an emotionally release as opposed to instilling instruction and the word of GOD. Hence, the exit of a lot of brothers from the church.

They create more opportunities for themselves.

How is it they can have an essencefest and we as men dont? Is that their fault?

:ehh:

I’m not trying to have a pity party for black men. I think you said “dikk and balls lead”, and I agree. If that wasn’t you then I apologize because to some people that can come off as misogynistic….but real manhood is a rough business and as you alluded to earlier, black men collectively have been failing in that regard. In regards to your question about the essence fest, I think they had easier access to the means(corporate sponsorship) to make it happen because they are great consumers and show up to black women centric events en masse. With that being said, that is not an excuse for black men not putting some type of major event together to showcase to young male adolescents what black manhood should look like.

Im honestly tired of telling niqqas the same old thing in here. Im reposting what I said in 2017.

William Julius Wilson in his book “When Work Disappears” wrote

"Underlying accelerated ghetto joblessness has been the US transition from a manufacturing to a service economy--a development that particularly devastated urban blacks"
Funny thing is....it's now no longer just a "black only" problem. It's spilling over into a national issue.

What we need to understand is that enrollment is also down for white men. For men across the board.

Thats why we are seeing this weirdo love many Black men have for Trump and its alignment to White men. He’s speaking for Male resentment in a way that doesn’t speak for how work has changed in this country

Niqqas aint adjust unlike our women. Im not about to let some of yall in here turn this into some women being at fault shyt.

And fukk Peruvian clown. You are not qualified to speak on socioeconomic and education regarding Black men with me.
Adjust?

I was gonna come in here and say the same thing and it also comes down to the fact that men of all races abandoned going to college for a few years now.

Tbh, I feel like there's been a war on education (for men).

From influencers on down, there's also the idea that education for education's sake is "bad".

This is because education has now become PURELY a vocational product.

Children should learn Math and Chemistry and Physics and Philosophy and Art history
to expand their horizons NOT just to "get a job".

The problem always boils down to workers vs. whoever controls the factory.

It doesn't matter if you're the person delivering packages OR the person working
on ensuring the supply chain works effectively.

We should all be paid fair wages in a system that doesn't strip you of your dignity and
a means to reliably feed yourself.
I definitely think it’s something to this thought process

I think they be dumbing down grammar school, like I know it’s popular right now to call American citizens dumb and shyt (aka the election where folks gleefully want people to suffer cause they think they stupid) like that but I’m a believer in humans being way more capable than they think they are but when they built on a bullshyt foundation they won’t realize they capabilities

Cause of hustle culture which says don’t go to college. Instead get a podcast and sell a course and rely on your girlfriend or parents and play PlayStation etc. and smoke all day. And when shyt hits the fan there’s always Forex.

Black men aint doing themselves any favors, choosing shyt for brains voices to speak for us and placing blame at the feet of black women.

I have not been impressed with brehs since I was looking for leadership as a young man atrending the Million Man March and hearing nothing but “feel goods” for eight hours without us leaving with a single plan.
What voices been chosen and who blaming black wonen?
