Completely different things lol. We talking about a physical product as opposed to the digital world where all you need is s network connection.
Tell me how kids will get around it? Yea they have places that’s gonna show it without age requirements, but those are small sites that the general public won’t really know about and when they get known they gonna have to implement the age verification or be shut down.

All you gotta do is say "the kids!!!" and gullible folks will voluntarily surrender their rights.

This is about the Louisiana law, but it applies to every state trying to pass these backwards laws.

People really shouldn't cheer this on.
Except when it comes to protecting them from gun violence with sensible legislation :to:

They will use vpns either built into a browser which many are, or they will download a program or app depending on what device they are using.

I do they worried about internet porn but won't lift a finger on an actual tangible policy. No reason to even address if it should be legal for minors that's obvious it shouldn't. It's obvious another culture war tactic to appease evangelicals I see right through this bullshyt policy.
I don't think just because they are trash on other policies means this policy is wrong, I agree with you there are far more important issues in this country, but I also can't get mad about a policy that I don't disagree with just because I'm mad about other shyt.

:ehh:

trust me the last thing I'd ever want to do is live in a red state, but some people don't got a choice :hubie:

Wont stop everyone but could prevent enough children for it to make a big impact if done effectively

And they were right in thinking that, you're literally describing how more effort was required to access those sites after those measures were put in place.

typing in one url instead of another isn't really more effort.

so teddit.net instead of reddit.com = more effort to you?

smh at the fact that backlash is mostly over people being scared of their porn genre being exposed via privacy leak:huhldup:

That ugly Marjorie was right about a national divorce.
Blue states are going to get an exodus of transplants escaping the hellish existence of the red states.
