his ascent is not sudden
he had a new york times seller 10 years ago
:scust: looking for something to tear down ur own people
POLITICAL ascent as this is the only ascent that's relevant to him running for governor. Who cares that he wrote a book 10 years ago. The book was a Black story we've all seen and heard thousands of times. Also I look at who Oprah has typically backed (dr oz, dr phil, iyanla vanzanrt, etc) and realize she has a poor track record when it comes to the well being of Black people in this country, so to me something feels off. I'm not tearing anything down, did I attack his character? I want to know more about his policies, plans and previous community engagement. From what I read his time at the Robin Hood Foundation is the closest community engagement and for me, working as the CEO of a nonprofit for a few years isnt enough for me to give my full support.

Interesting as blue is Maryland is overall, it's never had a black gov or US senator. That will change in November.
there are only two black governors in history I think
11 senators
blacks don't participate in politics enough

PJ's to the Burbs
You mean in PG County? They are already run by Black folk. Montgomery County isn't majority Black. Unless something changed in the last 10 years.

Where else in MD is majority Black? Is access to city jobs all the policy that Black folk need in MD?

Charles County took the chip They've been developing heavy out there know a few folks that made the switch and are loving it.
