His timeline of living in Baltimore growing up is definitely false. That's taken a life of its own. But its not a big deal to me. Dude loves Baltimore and has been living there most of the last 20 years anyway.
Wes Moore, a leading Democratic candidate for governor of Maryland, first became famous for his 2010 bestselling memoir, "The Other Wes Moore," an inspirational story of two boys with the same name and ties to the rough streets of Baltimore.

His political leanings are standard normie Dem from what I can tell. Steny Hoyer endorsing him let's you know what time it is.
Hoyer's protege in Maryland politics is Angela Alsobrooks and he LOVES her, wanted her to run for Governor. But she decided to stay as PG County Executive which was smart. She's either getting Steny's seat or going for Gov later on. She endorsed Wes Moore pretty early..
He's done some events with Andrew Yang, not sure he endorsed him in 2020. That non-profit executive circle deal..
Simply put, I think Moore is going to become another Obama-like creation very soon assuming he wins in November. The DC media market, being young, being black, and no real big skeletons will make him a darling of the Dem establishment. He's a good campaigner too.
I don't trust him but definitely voting for him in the general of course. In the primary, I liked Ashwani Jain and John King as they had good policies esp on climate stuff... but those guys had no shot.
I was more pumped for Ben Jealous in 2018. It's too bad he had to go up against Hogan and the Dems nationally ignoring him.
