I don't think this will take off. Vehicles can be a very personal thing.

Yeah. On one hand, I can see the value in having regular maintenance and whatnot just rolled into the cost of your vehicle, since it can be surprisingly difficult to find a decent mechanic who'll do good work and not try to get over on you eventually. But the deal breaker for me is the included insurance. If I've got a good deal in place with my current provider, it's going to be tough to just toss that in the bushes for something that might not even exist past a single lease term.

Especially coming from a Japanese company. Nintendo tried hard as hell back in the day to shut down video game rentals. Digital is a dream come true.

Thank God all the time that Nintendo pulled out of that deal with Sony. Their fukkery would be on 100 if that didn't happen.

there's no negatives to having a physical copy which is why these companies want to make shyt digital...you're at their will when you don't have a movie/game/album in your hand and trying to enjoy it

Physical is nice because you can sell the games later, and some games hold crazy value. Found my Pokemon Gold cartridge in a random box in the house a few months ago and sold it for $45 on Mercari. Wish I still had my Marvel vs Capcom 2 on PS2...lost it somehow. Goes for $200+ online.

Most gamers prefer physical to digital, but also prefer digital to driving they ass to Gamestop/bestbuy. So Digital for the win.
