CNN is reporting that a "consensus" around Kamala is forming. I'm not sure I believe that, CNN is damn near FOX News level with their reporting at this point but let's say it's true.... Let's say Biden steps down and Kamala takes over.

Not that i don’t want Kamala to win but that move makes Zero sense. They blew up Biden whole campaign and created all this controversy and division for pretty much the same thing we woulda got if they just tried to ride Joes old ass to the finish line
She has a better chance than biden at this point, biden can't even make the case why he should be the nominee. He's too old sick forgetful etc. He's not winning in the polls, we can't weekend @bernies him we need someone who can hit the ground running in battle ground states

And she could arguably get back some of the anti-Israel voters (like in Michigan) who are rallied against Biden since she can't really be blamed for that mess.
I'm more in favor of a convention, but if it has to be Biden or Kamala, at this point I'd take Kamala. Higher ceiling.

Joe Biden is a millstone around the neck of the Democrats in 2024. Crossing the finish line will be easier without him on the ticket. He has to go in order to rescue downballot Dems and potentially the Presidency. He'll sink the whole boat.Not that i don’t want Kamala to win but that move makes Zero sense. CNN trying it's best to make Biden step down. Biden won't though as he know Mike Johnson will use his Speakership to block any new Democratic Nomination and preventing the Democrats from having a Nominee.
I’m not sure at all if Kamala can win but I do believe Kamala (plus white midwestern governor running mate) is a stronger position than Joe is right now.
If anything Kamala won’t drag down house candidates.
