Reeks of broke nikka in here
Tip
Or
Pick up your own food
It's not about being broke.
I mean, should I tip an Amazon driver for delivering my packages?
Should I tip the cashier at walmart for ringing up my shyt, if I don't go to self-service?
Do you tip at McDonalds or just fancy restaurants?
All i'm saying is that this country should be beyond tipping. It should be considered a bonus, not mandatory.
But you have these tech companies, trying to be the next billionaire with a flawed business model.
And the concept of tips in America was birthed from racism. Black people were not paid the same, and white people finessed their way around not paying them by saying could earn money in tips.
THIS IS WHAT YOU HAD TO DO in order to get tips in the past.
Now, someone shows up to your door or table and be like .
fukk that.
The problem with Uber and all of these other gig economy companies, they all want to be the next Amazon. They all want hundred billion dollar market caps. In a few years. Or overnight.
All that shyt you typed
Is pure broke nikka babble
Ups, FedEx, Amazon, USPS workers
Get tipped all the time
If they do a good service
Especially during Christmas
The rule of tipping is
If someone provides a service
Tip them
If you go sit your funky ass down at a restaurant
And receive good service
Tip them
If someone is bringing you food to your door
Because you too got damn lazy to drive, walk, take public transportation
To pick your order up
Tip them
It’s really not a hard concept
If you have money to pay exorbitant delivery fees
You can spot another $5 for the service
Now if this was an argument about picking food up
You placed a to go order with
I would co-sign not tipping
Because I don’t unless extreme circumstances
I ordered 3 pizzas this weekend in Houston
And when I arrived to pick them up
The workers were killing themselves
And a brehette took her time going over my order
I dropped an extra dub on a $50 order
Because I wanted too
I had the money
And she provided amazing service
nikkas never know when they will have to work service
Because a job blew up in their face
Again
Broke nikka babble
26 dollars for food on DoorDash
42 dollars wth fee, delivery charges, and 3 dollars tip
I pick up instead
A lot of carry-out places are adding the tip option as well to the order. Hell Subway just started doing so in the past two weeks here.

Man motherfukk Subway
See I'm good on that. I don't mind tipping when I'm dining in or delivery (and rarely use that because of the excess fees on top of tipping) but for carry out/ordering in the place?? Nah I'm good. They need to start paying their workers more.
These apps charge a service fee and a delivery fee. When you add taxes, the total can equal or surpass what you actually ordered. And they expect you to tip?
you can’t control where the driver came from. I don’t give a shyt if they drove an hour. That’s not my problem. And it’s not like you can pick your driver.
they should make the delivery fee a flat rate within a certain zone and give it all to the driver.
