These people will hate every single Sony exclusive that’s popular. If Elden Ring had been a PS5 exclusive they’d be in here finding something about it to hate too. Like “it’s just demons souls and fromsoftware need to invent something)f new”God of War Ragnarok is a movie game now?

The "movie games" I think of are... Life Is Strange, Until Dawn, Telltale games like The Walking Dead, Batman, The Wolf Among Us, etc.

Demon souls is the first game in the sereis. The series has improved GREATLY over the last almost 15 years. Why should the first game in the series be scored as high as the most recent and polished even with a graphical update?

And yet, both Demon’s Souls games are rated over a 90 on metacritic so it’s definitely the outlier xbox stans that don’t see it as being equal. Funny how that works?

That guys review was ok he detailed the improvement to the DS formula that were missing in the first game. Nothing wrong with that.
Reviews are hype machines too. For Elden ring y’all said it was all Hype as for why that game reviewed so well. But in this context you want to pretend reviews are the most honest and sanctimonious things ever.
Let’s be honest, most reviews are mere hype and advertisements. Especially the scores.
