Its not like these gods were incredible hulks so why would he stylize himself as one


And sure he got matter manipulation powers, but morphing your body to be more buff to punch dudes harder is the lamest possible use of that I can think of

Plus theres no way Oscar Isaac wont kill it regardless of how he looks so all in all everything looks good to me

Plus can't Apoc change his size at will? Who says he won't use that power in the movie at some point??
