Oh I'm sure there's definitely more to it than meets the eye, but it's still crazy to me that they would feel that they deserve all the profits for deals that RZA and Vine brokered for them and they agreed to. Ghost sued RZA one time because RZA took his fee for producing for Ghost...the industry standard cut producers get for producing for an artist.

the thing with Rae and Ghost... they thought what they got paid was what they got paid not what is paid to the entity before it gets divided

Rip the FLOOR like a circular saw

Deck don’t get enough props man I swear.

Lokey Deck might have been the best overall rapper in Wu...he just didnt have the charisma to be a star but ive never heard a lo grade Deck verse

He got plenty on czarface, there was even a thread on here mocking using the same rhyme scheme often lately where he compares shyt to actors etc.

Deck is like Kiss he good for a killer 8-16 bars. He not the guy you want whole albums from. When he does whole bodies of work his weakness is evident. He can't get off smooth on hip hop and rnb like Rae, Ghost, Meth. He can't do the emotional verses Ghost can etc. Dude just a sharp shooter and that's a specialty with a limitation.

You ever heard "Cynthias Son" its my fav project of his.

The beats fit him well. If he had producers like Nas did on Illmatic, Deck would be looked at in another light.

His career would likely be different if his first album wasn't destroyed by the flood. But I agree he's more of a verse artist than an album artist. I'm sure that original album would have had plenty of guest Wu verses like the other classic solo Wu albums of that time, thus allowing Deck to be Deck.

Showtime announced Friday that it has acquired the television rights to Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, a four-part docuseries about the legendary hip-hop group. The first two episodes of Of Mics and Men, directed by Mass Appeal Sacha Jenkins, will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 28th, with the docuseries scheduled to air on Showtime this spring.

Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men features interviews with the group’s nine surviving members as well as never-before-seen archival footage and concert video.

“The series follows the founding members – RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty b*stard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface, Method Man, Masta Killa and Cappadonna – many of whom were childhood friends in the hardscrabble world of ’70s and ’80s Staten Island and Brooklyn,” Showtime said of the docuseries.

“Their ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit brought them together to overcome the poverty, violence and oppression of their neighborhoods. But it was music and their shared lyrical genius that allowed them to form the most recognized musical movement in the world, all while walking the treacherous tightrope that links business with brotherhood.”

Showtime’s Vinnie Malholtra added in a statement, “The Wu-Tang Clan is a seminal group that deserves a seminal documentary. Sacha Jenkins delivers just that, not only reminding us of their powerful history through vintage footage, but also placing their impact in modern-day perspective that will be meaningful both to their diehard fans and music fans in general.”

In October 2018, Hulu announced the 10-episode Wu-Tang: An American Saga, a RZA-centric series about the group’s rise in the Nineties. RZA said at the time, “This opportunity to continue the Wu-Saga in a 10-episode series will exponentially increase our inspirational style of entertainment. In the immortal words of ODB ‘Wu-Tang is for the Children.'”

How else can I watch this without showtime

I'm bout to start part 4 now. Not really feeling it. Part 3 was good but I thought this was going to be way better. Really let down. Just seemed like they talked about contracts for 4 hours.
