The fact that they think that the WNBA will all of a sudden be popular if they keep throwing money at it without changing anything inside the league is hilarious.
Theyre at a point of no return....if they let it become bankrupt,...the NBA will look misogynist and as if it didn't care about women....so they have to continue tossing cash into a money pit for publicity and images purposes if anything

The thing about not only black feminist, but all feminist is this: They understand that black men have to be the primary villain if they want to gain leverage for their cause.

They know white men have immunity. You're not going to crawl up the latter/get any type of money/bills passed if you vilify white men. When it comes to white men, all they can do is talk until they're blue in the face.

They NEED the black boogie man....You wanna create new rape laws?...Wait until a black man does it

Street Harassment laws? Wait until a black man does it

Domestic violence? Wait until a black man does it

No matter how many times a white man commits those same crimes, it's not really a "story" until a black man is accused of doing the same.We always become the "face"..the primary aggressor....the villain.

They seriously need a gimmick if they want their league to take off. The gender blaming isn’t going to solve the marketability of their sport. They can’t really shame folk into spending money(or attention) on them.

You really can’t compete at the same lvl as the male league, so why market yourself as that? They could totally have taken the WNBA in a glob trotters route for entertainment value or even made individual players into celebrities who then support their sport on individual brand value, similar to how Jake Paul was a white celebrity who brought attention to boxing after the fact.

Why won't they just lower the dam rim already:mjlol:

Men have tried to give them that suggestion plenty of times, but it falls on def ears. We've also given the suggestion of tighter and shorter uniforms:lolbron:.
I can understand saying no to that one out of self respect. But you already play with a smaller ball so are you refusing to lower the rim for the few women who are giants out there? Crazy thing is they willl probably sooner make accomidations where trannies can play in the wnba, but won't lower the damn rim.

I'm not sayin it will be good after they lower the rim,but at least I'd be curious to see.

Nothing but facts
The Comets were :whew: back in the day and not just looks. They could fukkin hoop. That was great basketball and the perfect example of what the WNBA should be.

I always thought Beyonce should bring the Comets back considering she's from Houston. Seeing a female owner of her stature would be good for the league. But idk if the WNBA could convince her that it's a good investment. :patrice:

They should pay her,and she would "own" it like Jay-Z owned the Nets:troll:

You can't make this shyt up if you tried. A black bull dagger who wants to be a black man. Criticizes black men saying they don't support their league. But black men make up the biggest percent of their fans and famous black men have donated money and helped sistas become owners in that league.

shyt like the spoiled child who cries they parents ain't shyt. After the parents done spent thousands and thousands of dollars buying shyt for them and bailing they ass out of bad situations for years.

One more thing. Draymond comments is what sparked all of this.

Quick comment. The bull dagger feelings hurt but she also isn't smart nor is the white cave animal who is trying to get clout and retweets.

What Draymond said is fact that the players, league and companies have to promote the players stories, controversies and their bio to get viewers and money.

BUT there is an issue here. The WNBA is majority lesbian and a dirty dirty secret is most potential viewers are heterosexual women and who do not care for lesbians.

Thats the elephant in the room. Heterosexual women find nothing appealing with gay women. Not there coolness (like gay men), not their masculinity (like straight men), not their fashion sense (like gay men), not their personal life.

So that kills everything. At least with these reality shows the gay man can give women fashion pointers, cool lingo, might be a cute gay man to them or have cute gay male friends that come on the show.

The WNBA can't offer any of that to heterosexual women. Hell they can't even have on sexy outfits like the sistas in tennis. So what is going to attract these women to the sport as viewers?

Male sports does not have this issue. Women watch it and swoon over how handsome or muscular the men are. How big their muscles are and etc. Or how cute their wife and kids are. Ain't gonna work with some lesbian female athlete where you got to hide her lover. shyt just ain't popping with straight women.

Damn, you just made a helluva point I never thought about but its so true:ohhh:.
Relatability is a major problem in the wnba,I'm willing to bet the people they have in charge aren't smart enough to think of this themselves.
They need to protect these young girls in these locker rooms from being turned out at an early age.

They should only push the pretty and feminine ones. This will draw more attention from women. And girrls will see they can be feminine and hoop. Mamba would have helped the sport had he surived the helicopter crash:mjcry:
