Dark souls is my favorite game from last gen and its >>> damn near every nintendo exclusive in the past ten years

It wasn't fun, imo.
Somehow I managed to put over 90hours in and didn't finish though

IMO the wolf part was meh but everything else was the dragon boss battle one of my favorite boss battles ever...

The games I mentioned are fun as well. Not sure how that answers my question. I never said Nintendo was paying for reviews. I said games are reviewed very differently, and some games get passes where others get bashed. And this goes for all games. Halo will score above an 8 regardless of how much the game is an improvement over the last. While other games get trashed for being more of the same.

i dont see how they're reviwed differently if a Mario game was trash they would rate it as such just like they recently did with mario party 9 they should of stopped after 2

What the hell is even being argued in this thread? Why are people talking about Dark Souls and Uncharted? I thought this was about console offerings going into Christmas season.

Does anyone in here aside from Meach really believe that PS4/X1 have a better line up going into this season than Wii U? Not that they are better systems, just that they have a better catalogue for this season?

That and SEGA used to provide classic entertainment. People want them 2 gaming companies to disappear so that M$ and their Japanese copy make the same games for mature gamers that lacks any form of innovation or creativity, outside of GoW.

Mario party is not a core game and it still got better than it should have.

And the games are reviewed differently. Other games loose points for things Mario games are praised for. And it's not just Mario games. All of the most highly regarded franchises get that same treatment.
