Until colleges decide to stop developing the spread offensive lineman, we aint gonna see much of a change
Blaming the colleges for bad nfl coaching ain’t it.

College football been doing the spread in mass going back 20+ years and it was never and issue. A lot of these so called “offensive genius” coaches have been figured out and refuse to adjust.

I’m looking directly at the raiders coach. Dude should be cutting Brady checks for the rest of his natural life

And that’s part of the problem. There are no more maulers on the offensive line compared to back in the day.

Players aren’t as coached up to be will shiels anymore. It’s all D’Brickashaw Ferguson ass niqqas

I feel like the lack of changes to the CBA is catching up to QBs, they are making more money than ever but the cap is not adjusted for that inflation so great QBs end up in talent wastelands. Mahomes is making it work, but the rest, not so much.

Brady was actually offsetting the balance by leaving Ms on the board and taking team friendly deals. This new crop of QBs want their money.

Nah, I love QBs not dominating as much, creates a more varied game.
That’s a bit disingenuous as it’s downplaying how Brady was in a situation to leave Ms on the table by having a wife that made just as much as he did for a lot of the marriage.

Do you not watch big ten and sec football? Plenty of schools are running traditional offenses.

The nfl has a coaching issue especially on the oline and offenses in general. Look at guys like mcdaniel, shannahan, whoever the hell detroits OC is and Reid’s offenses vs everyone else. Them dudes are playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers

The nfl offenses suddenly turning to cheeks is because nfl defenses caught up and we have some legitimately great defenses coaches in the nfl right now and offenses are poorly coached on the oline and refuse to make the adjustments to counteract these issues.

It's kinda funny seeing all the spread offenses in college and then you see Harbaugh and Michigan running their offense and shyt is like night and day, lean heavy on the run with 2/3 backs and then let the QB pick you apart when the box is stacked.

It's funny you say that and now all these NFL teams are looking to get Harbaugh back in the NFL, especially teams like the VIkings and Bears.

All of this shyt is coming full circle now. There’s been an over reliance on the spread the past 2 1/2 decades. There was a time being in the spread kill defenses. Now defenses have adjusted and teams who are successful are going back to the world by running traditional offenses. At the same time, it’s changed how the offensive line has played.

There is nothing traditional about the best offenses in college and the pros. And Michigan has beaten up on bottom feeders that are way less talented them all year. Need to wait for them to play a real team.

Yeah JJ McCarthy and that Michigan oline are always going to look when they’re playing the sisters of the poor

I think you are looking at it from the wrong angle. I'm not saying anyone's wrong for not doing what brady did, of course they aren't all going to be in the same situation as him in their personal lives. I'm saying that because this group is taking as much money as they are, it's becoming a lot more obvious that the salary cap is not able to accomodate it.

It's something that should be studied and investigated when CBA talks arise again.
