Just like these landlords telling renters that they should have prepared for a “rainy day”, landlords should have contingencies in place as well- any landlord totally dependent on rent as a sole source of income and willing to put people out for circumstances beyond their control that could potentially expose people’s health and lives to a pandemic crisis that the govt can’t even get under control, then they weren’t all that financial stable to begin with.

if they could do this for free, you know very well that most of the rental market is focused on overpricing, profit and greed:

The Four Seasons on Billionaires' Row, the most expensive street in NYC, is set to house doctors and nurses for free during the coronavirus pandemic

The Four Seasons hotel on Manhattan's Billionaires' Row will be used to house nurses, doctors, and other medical personnel free of charge, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Wednesday. Cuomo's press release said the hotel would be the first of several in New York to house healthcare workers at no cost.

"The 350 room hotel will provide medical personnel currently working to respond to the coronavirus outbreak lodging free of charge," the governor's office said in the press release. In Chicago, empty hotel rooms are used to house coronavirus patients and those awaiting test results.

The hotel is on the swanky Billionaires' Row. Business Insider's Katie Warren previously reported that the area includes a set of eight ultraluxury skyscrapers along the southern end of Central Park, as well as Central Park South, which was the most expensive street in the city in 2019. Condos there start at about $3 million and can fetch upward of $60 million.

fr , that's like a mf having his only source of income through the stock market, but crying when the market crash ... "shouldve had your ducks in a row and saved for a rainy day... now all that's left to do is pull yourself by the bootstraps"

Landlords who drank the Kool Aid into believing that "infinite money" exists among poor/working class people, have shytty money management. They are delusional like an OnlyFans thot, thinking they can make 60k per month and keeping everyone broke.

They need to get out of real estate altogether if you cannot properly manage someone's 40 to 60% of their monthly income and save a great portion of it.

Too many Coli heads LOVE the idea of exploiting the less fortunate, especially less fortunate BLACK PEOPLE disporportinately affected by this issue of fair housing. :mjpls:

at that point its on both of them and landlord can catch the fade if he want? what you want the tenant to do that you aint doing?

maybe OWN the crib first so wouldnt have to worry about the mortgage being paid by someone else. relying on other ppl will always fucc u up

Landlords need to pull themselves up by the bootstraps find a way to profit off exploiting one of the other 4 basic needs of man :troll:

What does that change if someone isnt paying rent? :yeshrug: Thats a straw man argument breh. Its just interesting to see people say "just pay the bank" but not telling people to "just pay your rent". Cause when people do own the homes fully, it doesnt change the sentiment people have.

rent prices have been allowed to grow unchecked for to many years. The land lords ate good off the bubble and you can’t really blame them but they're making to much off of people. Wages have been stagnant to long to allow this:yeshrug:

The nerve of these faggit landlords :mjlol:

ohhh, let me make sure you make 75 times your rent every year, but also let me hold three months of rent before you even step foot inside the apartment, but also, I’m gonna increase your rent by 10% every year while not providing half the amenities outlined in your lease, and I’m also going to take a few months after you move out to return 30% of your security deposit :scheme:

WHY WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE LANDLORDS!!!!!! :damn:
