Durant's made it to the Finals already. No one's ever gonna call him a playoff choker.

No one calls guys like Malone and Iverson playoff chokers because even though they didn't win it all, they did win a lot in the postseason.

I never called Melo a playoff choker. and how could anybody call him that?
Dude was a beast last two seasons during the playoffs. its the people around him that are always fukin up. Amare sliced his hand open. Shump tore up his knee. Davis tore up his knee. Lin stayed on the bench. that pretty left him alone and he still beasted. The year before that amare was hurt again. billups was hurt. Landry Fields went missing. and he basically played by himself again and still made the first two game with the celtics close. Wait and see how they do when all the starters actually play together for a whole season or at least the entire playoffs.

I've said it once and i'll say it again

Carmelo Anthony is the 2012 version of George Gervin

Prove me wrong, tell me that's not a spot on comparison

Good list but I can't go that far with the bold. Offensively, Melo is still a top 5 scorer and the Olympics always show that with great coaching, he can play at the elite level most of us expects he can.

He's a ball stopper, people always try to compare him and KD, but KD can clearly play without the ball at times. He's a great offensive player, I just wonder why he doesn't go sooner sometimes, he'll catch the ball with 14 seconds on the clock and jab step for 10 seconds :manny:

George Karl had him playing off the ball, averaging 30ppg on 50% shooting. There are only 2 differences in Melo/Durant's game. Melo likes the triple threat. There is NOTHING wrong with that, and it's a skill set that most players with his ability should use; they tradition ones always have. Durant usually catches and goes straight into his move. Next is that Durant plays high post out, Melo is high post in.

The knock on Melo is his defense/playoff resume. Yet you got nikkas like Kevin Love and Pau ranked ahead of him.

Cute
