Why do you hate on Melo

He's a ball stopper, people always try to compare him and KD, but KD can clearly play without the ball at times. He's a great offensive player, I just wonder why he doesn't go sooner sometimes, he'll catch the ball with 14 seconds on the clock and jab step for 10 seconds

No. I believe that if Melo was in better shape (not neccesairily thinner) in theory he could be a better defender. But Melo doesn't have the will, desire or stamina (nh) to be even an average defender for a full game. He'd rather half ass it on D & jab step on offense for 15 seconds.

I see. I just dont agree...but i get your point. I really dont think melo is reserving "energy" for offense only....i think if he was cut like nique, well, he'd still play defense....like nique. I just dont think he has a defensive mentality.

Durant's made it to the Finals already. No one's ever gonna call him a playoff choker.

No one calls guys like Malone and Iverson playoff chokers because even though they didn't win it all, they did win a lot in the postseason.
