Melo's Denver teams underachieved like a muthaf**ka. Cant nobody say he didnt play with talented teammates in Denver.

I still to this day have no idea why he wanted to be traded from a team that just went to the Western Conference Finals a season before

As talented as those squads were, they were flawed. Everybody outside of Melo were streaky shooters and they had a back court that started Anthony Carter

I do think he was leaving a real good situation in Denver though, The West was getting a little weaker and the Nuggets had a good mix of youth, vets, and finally found the pg they needed in Ty Lawson. I think they could've made it back to the Western Confrence Finals at least with the squad they had, but I'm a Knicks fan so I ain't mad that he chose to come here
